Summer of '22

Wow I just realized how long it had been since the last update on my website and I apologize for that!

2021 just kept getting busier and busier for me and it was fantastic! I had the amazing opportunity to play at the Jim Beam Bourbon Bar for the Phoenix Suns playoff run last season at the Footprint Center. There were some amazing private events and parties that took me to Del Mar and Palm Springs California as well as Flagstaff, Tucson, Castle Hot Springs, and many more great spots all around the Phoenix area. The Mr. Mal Band has been playing some great gigs this past year. Brunches at Copper Blues locations and at least once a month at Wasted Grain, two of our favorite stages to play on! We also recently had a great opportunity to play for the Barstool Sportsbook Par-Tee event held at Boondocks.(photo above)

Although I didn’t get to play for the Suns playoff run this season things have been staying steady and going well. You can find me this summer at my two weekly residencies Wednesday night at Boondocks in Old Town Scottsdale (8-11pm) and Thursdays downtown at the Cambria Hotel Rooftop bar around sunset (currently 6:30-8:30pm). Its also looking like evey other Friday this summer I will either be at Loco Patron in Old Town Scottsdale or at Copper Blues for the happy hour set.

I am hoping to get some recordings done in the next few months as well. Possibly re-recording old original tunes with a new fully produced take on them which sounds exciting to me. First I would like to record Volume III of Christmas with Mr. Mal, a handful of Christmas songs as I will be performing them this coming December and have copies to give out for the holiday season. I may also go back to email marketing and sending out an email update once a month or maybe quarterly, so keep an eye out for those.
